Key Facts
PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
The company headquarters of the publisher Süddeutscher Verlag are located opposite the SV printing centre on Hultschiner Strasse. The building complex designed by GKK Architekten from Berlin comprises a bold, 100-metre-high tower, a low-rise building and a well-lit atrium, which with a width of 24.3 metres and an impressive height of 23.5 metres forms the communicative entrance area and connects the two office buildings via a recessed, tiered structure. A cambered glass façade creates attractive lighting effects that give the building airiness and transparency. The building was handed over to Süddeutscher Verlag in the spring of 2009. In 2012, the high-rise building of Süddeutscher Verlag was the first office building in Germany to be awarded a LEED Gold certificate.
